WHAT IS DRY SCALP?

Does your scalp feel tight, itchy, and dry? Do you see small white flakes? If so, your scalp is probably extremely dry. To determine whether it’s dry scalp or dandruff, have a good look at the flakes. With dry scalp, the flakes are usually small, dry, and white. With dandruff, the flakes are larger, greasier, and whitish-yellow.

Dry scalp can have various causes, with age, hormonal changes, and stress being the most common. Heredity, temperature changes, poor eating habits, and aggressive hair products also influence scalp health. With dry scalp, the skin renewal and shedding process is disrupted, which causes the skin to lose moisture and feel dry.

A dry, itchy scalp is extremely irritating. Fortunately, this problem can be easily treated with our Dry Scalp Kit: a three-step plan that includes a pre-treatment product, a hydrating shampoo, and a moisturizing conditioner that nourishes the scalp.

USP

USP Purified Water is a water quality that meets the requirements of the United States Pharmacopoeia (USP), an internationally recognized standard whose specifications guarantee a certain level of quality. USP water contains few impurities such as heavy metals, nitrates, chlorides and sulphates.

GMP

Pursuant to the law, the US Food and Drug Administration has issued a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guideline for cosmetic products. It is designed to help manufacturers develop processes and procedures to ensure that cosmetic products are not adulterated and of consistent quality. Mediceuticals Laboratories USA has verified that its manufacturing facilities manufacture the cosmetic products in accordance with GMPs and all other applicable laws and regulations.

Instructions for use

Apply Therarx over the entire (dry) scalp or on the places where the problem occurs (do not add water) and let it work for 1 to 2 minutes. Dampen the hair and wash hair and scalp with X-Derma shampoo. Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes (or longer), then rinse. If necessary, wash again with the shampoo. Then towel dry the hair and distribute Therapeutic conditioner over the scalp and hair (you will have a sense of coolness on the scalp). Leave on for 2 to 3 minutes and rinse thoroughly. If you suffer from hair or scalp problems, we recommend using the shampoo and conditioner every day for the first 14 days. After this period you can follow your own routine (advice is at least 3 times a week). Use the pre-treatment (Therarx) during these 14 days 2 to 3 times a week.
